Central Health is pleased to announce the launch of telephone pre-registration process for the walk-in clinic at Green Bay Health Centre. This change in process is intended to reduce the time spent waiting outside the clinic, prevent clients from incurring extra expenses for making multiple trips to the clinic and reduce the number of non-emergent visits to the ER at Green Bay Health Centre.
As of Monday, June 12, 2022 a dedicated phone line will be available for clients pre-registering for the daily walk-in clinic. The dedicated phone line for clients to call is (709) 673-5907. This line is monitored by a dedicated clerk from 8:15am -11:00am on walk-in clinic days. The clerk would provide the client with an estimated time to arrive. If a delay is inevitable, the patient will be advised and their times will be adjusted.
The message manager will be changed daily to indicate whether the clinic is open for registration, full, or if there is no clinic that day. Clients are advised to follow the directions provided by the message manager.
Central Health would like to thank the public for their cooperation as we make this transition as smooth as possible. Pamphlets pertaining to this new process will be available at Green Bay Health Centre in the coming days.
