Central Health would like to advise it will be introducing walk-in opportunities for COVID-19 vaccination at all of its vaccination sites throughout the Central Newfoundland region starting August 5, 2021.
Walk-in vaccinations will be open to those 12-39 years of age, with the possibility of expansion in the future, and will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the following dates and locations:

These clinics are open to individuals seeking their first or second dose and have not booked a vaccination appointment. Please note there will be a limited number of walk-in appointments available at each site.
Individuals who had Moderna, Pfizer, or AZ as a first dose can avail of walk-in vaccinations as long as their first dose was given at least 28 days prior.
People should continue to check Central Health’s website as we are continuing to add clinics weekly. Those wishing to book an appointment at these clinics can still do so by clicking here or calling 1-833-961-3749.
You should not take part in a walk-in clinic or schedule an appointment for a vaccine if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment and referral by clicking here.
While waiting for your opportunity for vaccination, and after vaccination, it is important for everyone to continue to follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities including:
· Wearing a mask in public
· Washing your hands frequently
· Respecting public health guidance on gatherings, travel and quarantine · Completing the online self-assessment at https://www.811healthline.ca/ or calling 811 if you are experiencing one or more symptoms of COVID-19 to arrange testing.
