Central Health Opens Additional Vaccination Clinics in Lewisporte, Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor

Central Health would like to advise that there will be an additional mass vaccination clinics available in:

  • Lewisporte | Monday, July 12 – Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle

  • Grand Falls-Windsor | Wednesday, July 13 – St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish Church

  • Gander | Thursday, July 15 & 22 – Evangel Pentecostal Church

Appointments will be available from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. Booking for these clinics will start immediately.

These clinics are for individuals that had their first dose at least 8 weeks ago and have not yet secured a second dose appt.


Individuals who had Moderna, Pfizer, or AZ as a first dose can book into this clinic as long as their first dose was given at least 8 weeks prior.


Individuals will know when the clinics are full when there are no longer any available appointment slots available in the online system. If an appointment is no longer available in the community/clinic of choice, more clinics will be available in the future. However, people should continue to check Central Health’s website as we are continuing to add clinics weekly.

You should not schedule an appointment for a vaccine if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment and referral by clicking here.

While waiting for your opportunity for vaccination, and after vaccination, it is important for everyone to continue to follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities including:

  • Wearing a mask in public

  • Washing your hands frequently

  • Respecting public health guidance on gatherings, travel and quarantine · Completing the online self-assessment athttps://www.811healthline.ca/ or calling 811 if you are experiencing one or more symptoms of COVID-19 to arrange testing.
