Health Hubs: Virtual care options for non-emergency patients

Updated: Jun 3, 2022

June 2, 2022

Central Health would like to remind residents of two virtual primary care clinics (Health Hubs), physically located in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor. Through the Health Hubs, residents who have non-emergent medical issues, who do not have a family physician or whose family physician is not available, will be able to call the clinic and set up an appointment. A physician may contact the patient virtually (phone or video). If an in-person assessment is required, arrangements will be made to have this completed at a Health Hub clinic.

These clinics are located at the Gander Medical Clinic in Gander and at the Killick Clinic in Grand Falls-Windsor, but are for all residents of the Central Health region. Clinics are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Please note, this schedule is dependent on physician availability.

To reach the Health Hub clinic in your area, please call the Gander Medical Clinic at 709-381-0112 or 709-381-0338 and the Killick Clinic in Grand Falls-Windsor at 709-292-8404.
