Due to a temporary staffing resource challenge at Lewisporte Health Centre in Lewisporte, Emergency Services will be diverted on:
· Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 6:00 am to Sunday, February 13 to 8:00 am
If residents require emergency services during this time, they are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
Central Health continues its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and non-physician healthcare workers. Central Health has been engaging physicians directly about potential opportunities and is working with a recruitment firm to assist in its search for physicians.
We apologize for this interruption of service and thank the public for their understanding and patience as we continue to focus on providing safe and quality care for the residents of the Lewisporte.
