UPDATE: VIRTUAL CARE OPTIONS FOR NON-EMERGENCY PATIENTS IN CENTRAL

Updated: May 28, 2021

Central Health would like to remind residents of two non-emergent assessment clinics (Health Hubs), one in Gander and one in Grand Falls-Windsor. Through the Health Hubs, residents who have non-emergent medical issues, who do not have a family physician or whose family physician is not available, will be able to call the clinic and set up a virtual care appointment. A physician will then contact the patient and provide care over the phone. If an in-person assessment is required, arrangements will be made to have this completed at the Health Hub clinic.

These clinics are located at the Gander Medical Clinic in Gander and at the Killick Clinic in Grand Falls-Windsor. Clinics are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

We recommend that you try making an appointment with your family physician before calling the Health Hub. To reach the Health Hub clinic in your area, please call the Gander Medical Clinic at 709-381-0112 or 709-381-0338 and the Killick Clinic in Grand Falls-Windsor at 709-292-8404.
