Central Health is experiencing a temporary resource shortage at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre (BVPHC) in Baie Verte. Residents requiring emergency services during this time are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room where they will be seen. Individuals presenting to BVPHC may be assessed through a virtual emergency room service.
VIRTUAL ER
On-site emergency services will be supported through Virtual ER assessment on the following dates and times:
Sunday, March 27 from 8:00 pm to Tuesday, March 29 at 8:00 pm
Thursday, March 31 from 8:00 am to Friday, April 1 at 8:00 am

Central Health continues its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and non-physician healthcare workers. Central Health has been engaging physicians directly about potential opportunities and is working with a recruitment firm to assist in its search for physicians.
